Junior Bridge Engineer

The Opportunity

McElhanney has an exciting opportunity for Junior Engineer to join our Bridge team in Edmonton . This will be an entry level bridge engineering role based out of Edmonton and working with our growing Alberta Bridge Group. Our project portfolio includes bridge culverts and standard bridge through major interchange and river crossings and includes multiple award‑winning projects in BC and Alberta. An example is the Stoney Trail Bridge Twinning involving bridge construction engineering support for a segmentally‑launched, balanced, cantilevered 470m‑long bridge over the Bow River.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with bridge inspections, assessments, and data collection.
• Support the development of conceptual and structural designs for various bridge types and transportation structures.
