Junior Demand Planner

Job Overview:
The Junior Demand Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining forecast models for new and existing product.



Duties and Responsibilities:

-Gather information from various sources such as sales, finance, marketing

- Analyze demand drivers and buying patterns in order to create statistical forecasts

- Analyze market response to response to new products and develop forecasts for new items to be introduced on the market
- Review historical data, coordinate with related functions to refine forecast model, and notify the supplier of forecast modifications

- Analyze stock figures against previous sales figures to identify discrepancies and enhance the demand planning process for the coming period

- Negotiate orders with suppliers in terms of quantities and shelf lives and report any discrepancy to ensure accuracy
