Junior Diesel Mechanic

We are looking for a
Junior Diesel Mechanic
to join our maintenance team in
Vereeniging
. The successful candidate must have hands-on experience working on diesel engines in a workshop or production environment and be willing to learn and grow within a fast-paced operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on diesel vehicles and equipment
• Assist with fault finding on diesel engines, fuel systems, and basic electrical systems
• Perform inspections and report defects before breakdowns occur
• Maintain service records and job cards
• Support breakdown response to ensure minimal downtime
• Work safely and follow workshop and maintenance procedures

Minimum Requirements

• At least
  2–3 years' experience
  as a diesel mechanic (or diesel assistant mechanic)
