We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our head office in Sligo. This role is designed for a newly qualified or part-qualified professional eager to manage essential financial operations while supporting the commercial success of our engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Control: Maintain and reconcile daily/monthly bank accounts, and manage petty cash and foreign exchange transactions.
Transactional Management: Process purchase orders/invoices and maintain the sales ledger within our modern accounting systems.
Commercial Support: Partner with senior engineers to manage debtor collections and resolve client billing queries, ensuring a proactive approach to cash flow.
Project Administration: Oversee the accuracy of employee timesheets to ensure precise allocation of time and expenses to specific projects.
