Junior Fluvial Geomorphologist and Aquatic Ecologist

AECOM is seeking a Junior Fluvial Geomorphologist & Aquatic Ecologist for a new position to support the growth of our fluvial geomorphology and aquatic ecosystem practice in Ontario and across Canada. The successful candidate will work with senior geomorphologists, hydraulic engineers, and ecologists on stream restoration projects focused on natural process function, habitat improvement, erosion mitigation, and fish passage. Depending on background and interest, opportunities exist to develop additional skills in hydraulic or geoscience fields, including limnology.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply foundational scientific principles, established practices, and existing technologies to technical tasks with defined scope.

• Collect, manage, and interpret field and desktop data.

• Conduct fish habitat assessments and fish community assessments..
