Junior Machine Shop Coordinator

We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of Junior Machine Shop Coordinator . The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Assist with selecting machine shops by aligning vendor capabilities with production needs
• Obtaining quotes for parts
• Assist with expediting manufacture of parts at outside machine shops
• Liaise with engineering and manufacturing departments to help solve vendor technical problems
• Work with the procurement department to issue POs and obtain expected delivery dates
• Work with manufacturing to determine whether parts are made in-house or at outside shops
• Collect KPIs related to external machine shops
• Assist with quality audits of machine shops
