Junior Mechanic

Work Summary:
Vehicles and equipment owned by the company must be inspected, repaired, maintained, and serviced by the Motor pool Mechanic. ensures that every vehicle is roadworthy, dependable, and safe to support business operations.

Tasks and Accountabilities:

• Performs regular vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance (cars, trucks, service vehicles, and heavy equipment if applicable).
• Fix hydraulic, electrical, braking, and mechanical systems.
• Investigate and fix problems with the steering, suspension, gearbox, and engine.
• Keep an eye on and make sure that car maintenance plans are being followed.
• Keep thorough records of all repairs and services.
• Help get cars ready for registration, inspection, and emissions testing.
• Request and arrange for the acquisition of the tools, supplies, and spare parts required for repairs.
