Junior Mechatronics

About the Role

UST Global Malaysia is expanding our GenAI Research & Innovation team and is looking for a hands-on Junior Mechatronics & Robotics Engineer to design, prototype, and build smart manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build robotic / mechatronic systems for manufacturing use cases
• Develop hardware prototypes using 3D printing and rapid prototyping tools
• Integrate sensors, actuators, motors, and controllers
• Develop embedded and IoT-based connectivity solutions (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, MQTT)
• Support development of technical proposals and innovation demos
• Perform system testing, debugging, and optimization
• Collaborate with AI, software, and automation teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Robotics, or related field
