Junior Printing Estimator

ROLE PURPOSE

To accurately cost and prepare quotations for print and signage projects by applying strong technical printing knowledge, ensuring profitability, competitiveness, and alignment with production capacity.

This role requires practical understanding of large format and small format printing processes. Printing knowledge is non-negotiable.

2 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Costing & Estimating

• Prepare accurate costings for:
• Large format print (vinyl, canvas, wallpaper, banners)
• Small format print
• CNC cut letters
• Fabricated signage
• Lightboxes and LED signage
• Calculate:
• Material usage (wastage factors included)
• Machine time
• Ink consumption
• Labour hours (print, finishing, fabrication, installation)
• Outsourced services (powder coating, courier, rigging)
• Build detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Ensure correct GP margin is applied
