Our client, a Technical Specialist in the Engineering and Mining Industry , is currently recruiting a Junior Buyer/Procurement Officer for their Centurion Offices.

We require your working knowledge of sourcing and purchasing various goods including machinery, equipment, raw materials, and/or other supplies for internal consumption.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchasing various goods including machinery, equipment, raw materials, and/or other supplies for internal consumption.
• Obtaining and negotiating prices, delivery, terms, and sources of supply following specified policies and procedures.
• Ensure and maintain daily outputs.
• Monitor supplier performance with regard to delivery, quality, and quantity.
• Process internal requisitions for orders.
• Expediting orders, following up with suppliers.
