Junior Procurement Officer

Our client in the Automotive manufacturing industry, based in Durban, New Germany, is seeking an experienced Junior Procurement Officer to join their dynamic team. This role is responsible for efficiently sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services required by the company, ensuring they meet quality standards and are acquired at the most competitive prices.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Purchasing Management
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a procurement or buying role within a Automotive manufacturing 
• Proven negotiation and supplier management skills
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and contract management
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems
