Junior Project Engineer

He/she contributes to the development of engineering plans and designs.

- Assist in budget preparation for projects and monitors project expenditures.

- Provide technical / professional assistance to staff; review plans, specifications, contract,, and other reports and documents to ensure compliance with applicable codes, policies, and procedures.

- Assist in policy and procedure development, implementation and help the senior engineer in providing project quotations

- Review and estimates costs for projects.

- Analyze quotes and bids to assist the project senior engineer, survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.

- Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.

- Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at the project site.
