Junior Quantity Surveyor - Built Environment

Hire Resolve's client is in search of a driven and meticulous Junior Quantity Surveyor to become an integral part of their team in Durbanville, Western Cape. As the successful candidate, you will play a pivotal role as the guardian of project budgets, overseeing all costs associated with designated construction projects. You'll engage in the entire project lifecycle, from initial estimates to final cost reports, meticulously tracking any changes and fluctuations in turnover and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction projects.
• Analyse project drawings and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with project teams to monitor project progress and cost variances.
• Assist in preparing and evaluating variations and change orders.
