About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (C&S / M&E) to join the dynamic team at Hong Poh Engineering Construction Sdn Bhd in Penang. You will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring accurate cost estimates, budgeting, and cost control.

What you'll be doing

• BQ and quotation for the project.
• Source more quality Subcon and suppliers.
• Update supplier and Subcon's latest costing.
• Site visit and update project progress for each project.
• Coordinate and liaise with suppliers or Subcon for pricing samples, etc.
• Ability to source for supplies and quotation for tendering.
• Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary.
• Taking off quantities for tender.
• To assist in tender documentation/cost tabulation.
• Prepare tender and contract documentation including collection and checking for completeness of documents.
