A well-established Manufacturing Engineering company is looking for a Junior Shipping Controller to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town.
Position Requirements: National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 BCom Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or similar (Not Compulsory) Experience in a similar position Any admin, supply chain or logistics certificates (beneficial) Experience in Manufacturing environment (beneficial) Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans
Position Responsibilities: Planning Shipment and Distribution Send shipping documentation (as per courier) to the client or the client’s bank Responsible for the control of local loading schedule Negotiating rates with transporting and courier companies Picking and Loading Determine & control picking list according to loading demand, and shipment schedule Prepare commercial invoice from the PF invoice to ensure com...
