Junior Site Project Controls Specialist (Nuclear Power)

One of our engineering clients is looking for a Junior Site Project Controls Specialist to work at the Bruce Power Site.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor schedule float and critical path, man-hours and cost progress to establish trends, assist in cost forecasts
• Initiate the preparation of estimates for contract scope changes
• Participate in the preparation of project costs reports
• Assist in setting up and maintaining project schedules and cost control system and documentation for the project
• Responsible for maintaining change control, cost reports and cash flows etc
• Review invoices against PO’s and contracts for accuracy and certification of payments

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience
• Requires highly effective skills in organization and planning
• Detail and goal-oriented
• Strong business computer skills
• Experience in P3 and MS Project scheduling software...
