SkyCity is now looking for an experienced Junior Sous Chef - Pastry to join our Conference and Events kitchen team!
About the opportunity,
Joining the passionate kitchen team, this unique and highly sought after opportunity as an experienced Junior Sous Chef will see you working in SkyCity's largest commercial kitchen. Servicing events and functions, this role will entail large scale production of the highest quality. You will oversee the on shift operational performance of the kitchen team and optimise efficiency and effectiveness in the kitchen. Proactively participating in menu changes, you will also deliver exceptional food and service standards to customers through the supervision of day to day food production and presentation, and work alongside the wider team to build a strong reputation of quality dining and food. You will also work closely with the kitchen team on rostering, food costing and ordering of stock.
