Job Description
Job Summary:
The Junior Sous Chef assists the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and compliance with company standards on food safety and sanitation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sous Chef in supervising kitchen staff and daily operations
- Help in food preparation, cooking, and plating according to set standards
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation
- Assist in inventory checking and proper storage of kitchen supplies
- Support in training and guiding kitchen staff when needed
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Sous Chef
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Culinary Arts or related course is an advantage
