(Junior to Senior) Transmission Engineer

Responsibilities

• Detailed design of transmission and or distribution projects, voltage ranging from 14.4kV to 500kV which could include transmission overhead or underground lines, support structures replacement, crossarms and crossings.
• Prepare detailed engineering calculations, bill of materials and design packages for transmission and distribution projects
• Developing PLS-CADD models for transmission lines using LIDAR data
• Designing Wood, FRP and Steel Pole structures using PLS-Pole
• Travelling and visiting to projects sites as required
• Act as an Engineer of Record on projects
• Provide mentorship and direction to junior staff in the delivery of projects
• Performing tasks allocated by Project Manager and Management
