Job Description

Position Details
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledgeable of the fundamentals with the ability to teach and demonstrate to students

Design a daily and weekly practice schedule with specific goals for team and individual development

Must be able to help design and implement short term and long term goals for the program

Follow the direction of the varsity coach and have the ability to work with existing coaching staff to develop necessary fundamental skill set for betterment of the program

Must model appropriate behavior, promoting at all times the social, emotional, and moral well-being of CPS student-athletes

Effectively communicate with players, parents, and administration

Must be certified in First Aid, CPR, and CAP 1 or CAP 2 by the start of the 2026 season

Coach must adhere to Athletic Code for Coaches, as stated in MHSAA Handbook
