REQUIREMENTS

• MINIMUM 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE
• VALID PSIRA GRADE C CERTIFICATE
• VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
• VALID FIREARM COMPETENCEY
• DH1 & DH2
• DH3 , DH4 & DH5 ADVANTAGEOUS
• PASSION TO WORK WITH DOGS
• UNDERSTAND AND RESPECT ANIMAL WELFARE REGULATIONS
• PREPARE INCIDENT REPORTS
• NO CRIMINAL RECORD

DUTIES

• Conduct regular patrols of premises with the K9 to deter unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism.
• Inspect perimeters, gates, vehicles, and buildings for signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, or security breaches promptly.
• Feed, water, and groom the K9 daily to maintain its health and performance.
• Exercise and rest the dog appropriately to keep it alert and balanced.
• Monitor for illness or injury and ensure regular veterinary check-ups.
