Position Summary

Our Te Tai Hauāuru tīma is looking for a Kaitohutohu | Advisor. This role is full time and fixed term until mid‑December 2026. The region’s Puni is responsible for implementing Te Puni Kōkiri’s regional strategy and building strong relationships with hapori Māori. Through community engagement, insight gathering and policy advice, it supports initiatives that build capability and drive intergenerational transformation.

Based in Whanganui, this role offers the chance to join a collaborative and supportive team. You will be involved in a number of interesting and high‑impact workstreams, with much of our mahi in Te Tai Hauāuru focused on working closely with Post Settlement Governance Entities (PSGEs), particularly across Rangitikei, Manawatū and Horowhenua.
