Join us as an Emergency Management Officer and play a key role in helping communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies. This is a meaningful, hands‑on role where your work directly strengthens community resilience across the South Waikato.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working alongside iwi, communities, and partner agencies to build readiness and resilience
• Planning, coordinating and supporting emergency response activities
• Delivering training, exercises and community education programmes
• Developing and maintaining emergency management plans and procedures
• Supporting response efforts during real events (including being part of a duty roster)
