Join our Infectious Disease team at Kelowna General Hospital as a locum physician. This role features a combination of inpatient consults and outpatient care, focusing on infection management and patient follow-up.
We seek dedicated locum physicians who are motivated to support our team's efforts. Your responsibilities will include assessments and ongoing care within a collaborative model, with opportunities for bedside teaching and participating in our Antimicrobial Therapy Clinic. You'll also engage in clinically relevant research that impacts both individual patients and public health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inpatient consults and outpatient follow-ups
• Support the Home IV Antibiotic Program effectively
• Teach medical learners and allied health team members
• Consult on infection prevention and stewardship
• Participate in impactful research initiatives
