Please Note: Cuerden Care are unable to offer Sponsorships We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our Care Home Berkeley Gardens in Pemberton, Wigan.
As part of a dedicated team, you'll help prepare and serve meals for residents.
Basic cooking and cleaning skills are required.
Duties to include: Support the cook in providing healthy, nutritious freshly prepared meals and snacks in line with food safety regulations.
To be aware of residents dietary needs.
To dispose of waste correctly.
Maintain high hygiene standards in the kitchen, including regular high and low level cleaning of surfaces and equipment.
To be a reliable & hard-working personality with a desire to learn & progress within the kitchen team.
Similar experience is desirable but not essential.
Full time hours, to include alternate weekends.
Hours to be confirmed upon interview.
