JOB OVERVIEW

The Kitchen Helper / Kitchen Crew supports daily kitchen operations by ensuring efficient food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and assisting cooks in delivering consistent, high-quality Nasi Lemak dishes. This position is key in maintaining a smooth workflow during peak operating hours.

Job Responsibilities

A. Food Preparation & Support

• Assist in basic food prep such as cutting, slicing, washing, portioning, and marinating ingredients.
• Prepare sambal, condiments, and side items under supervision.
• Ensure mise-en-place is ready before service.
• Assist Line Cooks and CDP during peak periods.

B. Kitchen Operations

• Ensure ingredients are properly labelled, dated, and stored (FIFO).
• Assist in assembling basic menu items and plating as required.
