Kitchen Helper

Job Summary:
The Kitchen Helper assists the kitchen team in food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a sanitary work environment. This role supports chefs and cooks to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely food service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans
• Receive and properly store deliveries and supplies
• Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain cleanliness standards
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
• Support cooks and chefs during busy service periods

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous kitchen or food service experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Hardworking, reliable, and able to work in a team
