Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to Yellow Cab recipes, portioning, and quality standards
  • Lead, train, and coach kitchen staff on proper food preparation, safety, hygiene, and equipment use
  • Ensure strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations (including FIFO and proper storage)
  • Monitor food preparation timelines to ensure speed of service and order accuracy
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety
  • Control food costs by minimizing waste, monitoring inventory, and ensuring proper usage of supplies
  • Coordinate with the Store/Branch Manager regarding manpower scheduling, performance, and operational concerns
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any issues promptly
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and workplace discipline within the kitchen
