Job description

Deliveries :Assisting with unloading deliveries of food and kitchen supplies

Storage :Storing ingredients according to food safety regulations

Workstation setup :Helping set up and clean workstations

Waste disposal :Emptying trash bins regularly and disposing of waste

Collaboration :Working with chefs and cooks to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly

Transferring supplies :Moving supplies and equipment between storage and work areas

Kitchen helpers usually have knowledge of general kitchen operations and food storage guidelines.They may also learn about kitchen and restaurant operations, and work with and learn from chefs.
