Kitchen Staff

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients
• Support chefs in basic cooking tasks as instructed
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, equipment, and workstations
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards (HACCP / food safety guidelines)
• Store food items properly and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) method
• Assist in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies and deliveries
• Dispose of waste properly and ensure pest control standards are followed
• Help in set-up and clean-up for banquets, buffets, and events
• Report kitchen equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisors
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned
