The purpose of a Kitchen Worker is to prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner. Kitchen Workers are responsible for setting up and stocking the kitchen, preparing ingredients, cooking food, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and completing other tasks as assigned by their supervisor. Kitchen Worker Duties Prepare food ingredients and cook meals according to recipes Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment Safely handle and store food items Follow health and safety guidelines Receive and store food deliveries Monitor food stock levels Kitchen Worker Skills Ability to operate kitchen equipment Ability to follow recipes and directions Ability to clean kitchen and dining areas Ability to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment Ability to work in a team setting
