About the role

Permanent or 12‑month fixed term (secondment considered) role based primarily in community settings with the main base at Glen O’Dee Hospital, Banchory. The post holder will join the Older Adult Mental Health Occupational Therapy Service and the newly established multidisciplinary Enhanced Dementia Support Service.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and provide occupation‑focused treatment in various community settings.
• Support multi‑disciplinary formulation working closely with the Enhanced Dementia Support Service and other health and social care professionals.
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement, service evaluation and audit.
