L2 Database Engineer

Job description:

The Senior Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for management, maintenance
and migration of secure databases on Cloud and On-Prem platforms. Primary goal is to provide
Always Available secure database tier with high performance, for both backend data and
frontend application accessibility for end-users. Responsible database administrator should be
able to effectively communicate and troubleshoot problems, have sound technical skills and
administrative aptitude to design, build, operate, secure, manage and maintain our company
databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, install, tune, deploy, secure, migrate and upgrade DBMS installations
• Monitor database performance, identify and resolve database issues
• Migrate databases across Cloud and On-Prem platforms with minimal or no downtime
• Provide guidance and support to Developers on design, code review, SQL query
performance tuning
