OCCUPATION : Lab Analyst I DEPT . : Quality


JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE: The Lab Analyst I performs sample preparation, performs analytical testing, and manages data in support of Materion's requirements for customers and the ISO 17025 management system . The Lab Analyst I reports to the Senior Analytical Chemist or Analytical Lab Supervisor as appropri ate , with d otted line responsibility to the department lead .


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Work with La b Analyst II , Sr Lab Analyst, and the department lead to receive training, use the QMS software to access and acknowledge training documents and work instructions. Provide some basic/intermediate training to other lab personnel on analytical methods and practices when required .
