Lab Analyst

Minimum Requirements

1. Grade 12
2. Chemistry or related Diploma/Degree
3. At least 5 years lab analyst experience
4. Understanding stats rules relating to a lab
5. HPLC experience
6. Own transport
7. Willing and able to work shifts (7pm to 7am - weekly rotation)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Calibration of apparatus
• Maintain the QMS in lab according to Good Documentation, Manufacturing and Laboratory Practices.
• Prepare reagents according to SOP
• Document relevant info: reference method, measured pH, temperature
• Prepare raw data according to ALCOA
• Ensure productivity in the lab by sticking to lead times
• Ensure lab operates safely
• Workstations must be kept tidy
• Health and Safety policy must be followed
