About the Department

The Laboratory Services Department at CMH performs laboratory tests necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of hospital inpatients and outpatients in an accurate and timely manner.

A typical day will include

Collectingand processing blood samples for the laboratory; actingas department receptionist;and filingand maintainingrecords.

• Collects specimens utilizing correct equipment and within specified timeframes
• Logs, prepares, and sends specimen to reference laboratory as indicated
