VACANCY: Laboratory Assistant (LA2026)

The Donald Brown Group is a dynamic organisation in the salt industry and requires a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Upington.

This role will support quality control and food safety testing within our production facility. The successful candidate will assist with routine laboratory analyses, sample preparation, and record keeping in compliance with food safety standards and company procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Conduct various routine testing of products and raw materials.

· Prepare samples, reagents, and laboratory equipment.

· Accurately record test results and maintain laboratory documentation.

· Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and FSSC 22000 requirements.

· Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laboratory.
