Job Description
- Lab Technician cum Tutor primarily maintains delivery of technical services across hangar, workshop, and laboratory facilities, ensuring operational readiness, safety compliance, and resource efficiency, with secondary support limited to practical session setups only.
- Keeps hangar, workshops, labs, and associated areas clean, tidy, and organized at all times by sweeping debris, wiping surfaces, segregating waste properly, and arranging storage for immediate access.
- Prepares diverse materials for practical purposes by cutting/shaping wood, metal, plastic, composites, or aircraft components using hand tools (saws, files, drills) or machine tools (lathes, mills, CNC, grinders).
- Prepares, sets up, and rigorously checks machinery, equipment, apparatus, and tools for functionality, safety, and calibration before/after every use, running test cycles to confirm performance.
