LAB TECHNICIAN

Activity sector: Pulp and Paper Site: Kamloops, BC

Wage: $36.11 per hour

Schedule: 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday – with shared rotating weekend coverage

YOUR ROLE

The Kamloops Pulp Mill is currently looking to hire a full‑time Lab Technician to join the Technical and Customer Services team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• incoming raw material
• final product quality
• environmental
• hygiene
• in-process testing and troubleshooting
• training and assisting in other areas in the Mill

YOUR SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• You are analytical and have logical thinking skills;
• You have good communication skills, both written and oral;
• You have strong computer skills (Microsoft applications); software database experience (QIS, ParcView, etc.) is an asset but is not required;
• You are known for your organizational skills, ability to prioritiz...
