Laboratory Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supports the division head in the quality assurance and quality control activities related to the nickel ore analysis.

2. Supervises lab, assistants I an II in the sample preparation and processing involving pressed pellet and fused glass bead formation.

3. Executes sample analysis through laboratory instrumentation ensuring accurate and reliable analytical results.

4. Formulates the analytical report of samples being analyzed in the division according to the established standard procedures.

5. Keeps confidentiality of all analytical results generated from the sample analysis.

6. Conducts regular laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration.

7. Submits reports of any issues and deviations associated with the measurement to the immediate supervisor.
