Laboratory Analyst for Chemistry Laboratory

• Must be registered Chemist or Chemical Technician
• With at least two (2) years of experience in water and wastewater analysis
• Preferably with experience in operating UV-Vis and AA Spectrophotometers
• Must be organized, process and detail-oriented, and with excellent technical writing skills
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and can work under pressure

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Analyst shall be able to perform required microbiological and physio-chemical test parameters of water samples.

• The Analyst shall be responsible in receiving and checking water samples.

• The Analyst shall be responsible in chemical preparations in the laboratory.

• The Analyst shall be responsible in proper chemical waste segregation and containment inside the laboratory.

• The Analyst shall be responsible in checking the works of the laboratory aide and sampler.
