Laboratory Analyst

Overview

Laboratory analysts set up test equipment in the lab to complete specific procedures.

Responsibilities


+ Performs receiving, tracking, analyzing, reporting and disposing of samples.

+ Performs a variety of chemical and biological tests and associated laboratory activities; prepare chemical reagents and solutions; sanitize tools and equipment as necessary for microbial testing; clean, organize and maintain the laboratory work spaces and equipment.

+ Calibrate laboratory instruments in accordance with applicable policies and manual.

+ Participate in all laboratory activities in an efficient and safe manner; all work shall be executed in conformance with the Safety Policy.

+ Assists in maintaining laboratory equipment and observe its performance by tracking quality standards, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, operating in compliance with equipment best practices and written proced...
