Laboratory Analyst in Vancouver

Overview

Jacobs Engineering is seeking a Laboratory Analyst I to support environmental and wastewater laboratory operations. This role is ideal for candidates with science education or laboratory experience who are interested in environmental testing, sample analysis, and laboratory operations in a team-oriented environment.

Important Notes: Schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday on day shift; Some holiday work may be required; Candidates must be able to stand for approximately 80% of the workday; Regular lifting of 1–15 lbs. required, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze wastewater samples for Total Suspended Solids, Fecal Coliform, Ammonia, pH, Biochemical Oxygen Demand, and other laboratory tests
• Analyze solid samples for %TS and %VS measurements
• Collect and prepare air and wastewater treatment samples for analysis
• Use microscopes to identify bacteria in wastewater samples
