Reference: DBN -RC-1 A leading pharmaceutical company has a vacancy for a Laboratory Analyst to perform chemical testing on Finished Product and Water Samples. Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Ensures that the samples received agree to the Production Program and label copy.
Ensures the correct procedures are followed.
All results are correctly calculated to determine acceptability.
Ensures samples are taken at the correct process steps and released timeously.
Ensures that the monthly water points are sampled and tested timeously.
Tests finished products using current pharmacopoeias/SOP associated with ‘wet’ chemistry and instrumental techniques (HPLC, IR, UV, AA, FTIR, Flame photometer etc.), as appropriate.
Initiates an out of specification investigation form and reports failing results to the Supervisor/Manager during failures.
