Come and join the team at Port Headland as a full-time laboratory assistant.
Duties include, however not limited to:
Responsible for unloading, loading, sorting and weighing of samples onto drying racks while maintaining numerical order.
Responsible for analyzing mineral samples using various instruments including ICP, XRF, AAS
Reconcile samples delivered with the supplied sample submission form listing extras and those not received onto the sample sorting sheet (iso sheet).
Responsible for milling samples and transferring sub-samples to sample packets while maintaining numerical order and following established quality control procedures and avoiding contamination.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience working in a mineral’s laboratory
