Laboratory Chemical Technician

Responsibilities

• 1. Performs the required chemical and physical analyses of accepted samples according to specified methods and procedures.
• 2. Ensures that the analysis results are released on time.
• 3. Prepares, reviews and ensures correctness of data generated.
• 4. Prepares standards and reagents required for the analysis in accordance with prescribed test methods and maintains the assigned equipment for proper conduct of the laboratory tests.
• 5. Ensures systematic workflow by regular and proper timing of laboratory tests in order of priority.
• 6. Prepare samples for subcontracting to other laboratories for analyses that cannot be done at FAST laboratory.
• 7. Safeguard the confidentiality of test results and procedure of customers.
• 8. Strictly implements the established laboratory quality system based on PNS ISO/IEC 17025, as well as on other accrediting government and private institutions.
