Laboratory Custodian

The Laboratory Custodian is responsible for the proper maintenance, cleanliness, organisation, and safekeeping of nursing laboratories, equipment, instruments, and supplies. The position supports nursing faculty and students by ensuring that laboratory facilities are safe, functional, and ready for instructional use in accordance with institutional policies and health and safety standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

QUALIFICATION

• College graduate of nursing or any allied health profession
• At least 1 yr of work experience as laboratory custodian
• Good communication skills
• Must be willing to report on site, Mondays to saturdays
• TOR and a diploma must be available
• Basic knowledge of nursing laboratory equipment and proper sanitation practices is an advantage.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety guidelines, and institutional procedures.
