Laboratory Manager

About the role

This full-time Laboratory Manager position with PY KONSEP PERUNDING SDN BHD' offers an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing technical team in Tenom District, Sabah. As the Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all laboratory operations and ensuring efficient, accurate and compliant testing and analysis to support the company's scientific and technological objectives.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage and operate the site materials laboratory.
2. Ensure all testing (soil, rock, aggregates, concrete, etc.) complies with BS/ASTM/AASHTO/MS standards.
3. Supervise laboratory staff and review test results and reports.
4. Maintain laboratory quality systems, equipment calibration, and documentation.
5. Coordinate with QA/QC and construction teams on testing requirements.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 8-10 years' experience in construction/materials laboratory work.
