Job Description
AGAT Laboratories seeks a Laboratory Technician C to join the Mining Geochemistry Lab in Calgary. This entry-level position requires a strong understanding of laboratory protocols and afternoon/evening availability.
The ideal candidate has experience or education related to chemistry or geology. Responsibilities include performing sample analyses and basic lab hygiene tasks, while operating and maintaining lab instruments. As a key team member, you will contribute to quality assurance processes and ensure accurate data handling during your shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine laboratory procedures and sample weighing
• Engage in the geochemical analysis of samples
• Clean workstations and manage waste disposal
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment
• Validate and log accurate data files
