Laboratory Technician

Carmona Water District, a government-owned and controlled corporation (GOCC), is seeking a reliable and dedicated Water Laboratory Assistant. The candidate will be hired as a Job Order and will receive an additional 20% premium pay on top of the contract salary.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation and implementation of the Water Laboratory Operations Manual in line with the DOH requirements, ISO 17025 standards, and other regulatory bodies' standards;
2. Comply with the reports, permits, certificates, and requirements required by the DOH, CHO, PNP, and other regulating agencies for the accreditation of the water laboratory;
3. Perform periodic water sample testing;
4. Prepare and conduct quality control checks on necessary culture media, reagents, reference microorganism, and other laboratory supplies; Conduct and interpret microbiological testing for water samples following the standard procedures based on the Standard Methods for th...
